A TRIBUTE TO PORTLAND SKATEBOARDING
As co-owner, creative director, and designer for Tribute Skateboards, I was presented the unique opportunity to partner on a brand that would come to represent a community. NW Skaters, that for the most part had been under represented in the industry space.

Developing on this brand taught me a lot about meaningful culture, contribution, and thoughtful business practices. Specifically, how contributing in a space that is close to the heart, gives a real sense of purpose. The reward of seeing the love for the brand, and the products out in the wild was deeply gratifying.

MY CONTRIBUTION:
Creative Direction:
Branding; Brand I.D. System (logos, fonts, colors), Seasonal Campaign Themes, Video Concepts

Art Direction:
Led a team and managed all aspects of production (Design, Photo & Video)

Design:
Entire Visual System (Board Graphics, Video)

The Portland People Eaters

Stumptown was cut with axes.

A key positioning point of Tribute was to blur the lines of streetwear and skateboarding. The Portland People Eaters were created with that in mind.

This concept of a ‘skateboarding gang’ created a story-telling through line for videos, graphics, and collaborations. It was celebrated by skaters, streetwear heads, and movie buffs alike.
